Welcome to Applecroft Preschool

Applecroft Preschool is a committee run charity preschool that has been helping young children take their first steps into learning since 1971.

For children aged 2–5 years, we provide a caring, stimulating environment where every child is supported to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support children's learning, development, health and wellbeing.

Where little beginnings become big adventures

For over 50 years, Applecroft Preschool has been part of the local community, providing young children with a safe, welcoming and engaging place to learn and thrive.

We understand that every child is unique. Our experienced team takes the time to get to know each child, supporting their individual interests, development and needs through purposeful play and meaningful experiences.

Whether your child is taking their first steps into preschool or preparing for school, we're here to help them flourish.

Applecroft Preschool is open Monday to Friday, 9:15am – 3:15pm term time only, providing flexible session options to suit the needs of families.

  • Morning Session: 9:15am – 12:15pm

  • Afternoon Session: 12:15pm – 3:15pm

Children can attend individual morning or afternoon sessions, or enjoy a full day with us.
